Bat Boy the Musical
Music and lyrics by Laurence O'Keefe, book by Brian Flemming and Keythe Farley
Directed by Philip Nemy
Theater 150 is proud to stage its first-ever musical production, allowing us to feature the outstanding and here-to-fore underutilized singing and dancing skills of our ensemble. Ripped from the headlines of The Weekly World News, Bat Boy the Musical is a classic love story with a serious bite. This unconventional twist on the musical comedy tells the provocative, poignant story of a half-boy/half-bat discovered in a cave, his struggle to find a place in a community that shuns him, and the love that can create both miracles and madness.

Inspecting Carol
Written by Daniel Sullivan and The Seattle Repertory Theatre
Directed by Richard Kuhlman
Every cash cow deserves a good tipping now and then, and Ebenezer gets his in Inspecting Carol, the hilarious shish-kebabbing of Charles Dickens, the NEA and desperado theater groups. In danger of creating our own strange and wonderful cash cow, and in order to avoid the wrath of a hilarity-hungry mob that knows what it wants for Christmas, Theater 150 brings back one of the funniest holiday plays ever written for one more seasonal go around. In Inspecting Carol, anything that can go wrong does when a struggling theater company creates a spicy update of A Christmas Carol in an attempt to score big with an NEA inspector.
